Meet Gillian — Executive Manager & GP Liaison at GP Collective

Gillian has been with GP Collective since its earliest days, playing a foundational role in shaping both the vision and physical space of Your Hobart Doctor. From designing the iconic 71 Bathurst Street clinic — a space that still radiates warmth and charm — to leading operations and building strong clinical teams, Gillian has been at the heart of the journey.

With a long-standing career as a Radiographer, including her most recent role at the Royal Hobart Hospital Angiography Suite, Gillian brings firsthand experience of the high-pressure world of emergency medicine. She’s worked alongside stroke and STEMI teams, offering critical support to doctors and patients alike — and she brings that same dedication, responsiveness, and calm under pressure to her leadership at GP Collective.

After leaving RHH, Gillian became the Practice Manager of YHD, helping to elevate it from a promising idea to a thriving, patient-centred medical service. Today, she serves as part of the Executive Management Team and is a key GP Liaison Officer, focused on ensuring doctors feel valued, supported, and set up to do their best work.

Gillian is known for her tireless work ethic and has bought xray to the Urgent Care Clinic and a team of Radiographers to support— often working seven days a week — and her deep commitment to creating a team culture where clinicians can thrive. She understands that doctors need clear communication, reliable systems, and the right people around them. And she makes it her mission to deliver exactly that.
